The History of Long-Stanton Asia

  • 2004 Dan Cunningham decides to take Long-Stanton Mfg. Co. global by starting a 100% owned WOFE (Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise), Long-Stanton Asia in Changzhou, China, and Long-Stanton & Lee, a 50/50 joint venture with Lee World, based in Wuhan China.
  • 2004 Marvin Cunningham is hired as General Manager of Long-Stanton Asia’s operations in China.
  • 2005, February 4th, Long-Stanton Asia receives it business license from ZhongLou Economic Development Zone in Changzhou China.
  • 2006 Long-Stanton is named the Cincinnati Family Business of the Year by the Goering Center at the University of Cincinnati.
  • 2006, April 11th, Marvin Cunningham is appointed as an Inspector of the Working Efficiency in the ZhongLou District, Changzhou, China
  • 2009, August 28th, Long-Stanton Mfg. Co. in Ohio is named the Cincinnati Family Business of the Decade by the Goering Center at the University of Cincinnati.
  • 2009 Long-Stanton & Lee is re-named Legend Metal and Rubber to more clearly reflect the products it makes in China.
  • 2010 Long-Stanton Asia begins providing consulting services both in the U.S. and in China.
  • 20011 Long-Stanton Asia moves to a new location in the ZhongLou District.
