Long-Stanton Asia offers a wide variety of excellence services outside of our core stamping and assembly operations.
Secondary Operations
- Heat Treating, to harden and strengthen metal after stamping
- Machining, to meet precise tolerances on features that can not be made in traditional stamping tooling or by standard metal fabrication methods
- Tumbling; to remove processing burrs and provide superior edge quality
- Polishing, to add shine or texture to a standard material finish
Protection Options
- Zinc Plating (RoHS compliant), a coating which offers low price with excellent protection in wet or humid environments. We offer either hot-dipped galvanized or electro-plating zinc finishes
- Chrome, Nickel, and Copper Plating, coatings which are often used for decoration in addition to guarding against corrosion
- Dacro Coating, a multi-metal coating that is popularly used in many auto and appliance applications. Offers outstanding corrosion protection
Non-Metallic Options
- Powder coating; a heavy protection used in a variety of outdoor applications
- E-Coating; which offers a chemical bond with the underlying steel but is vulnerable to prolonged exposure to UV light
- Painting which offers one of the most cost effective ways to prevent oxidation on steel parts.
We offer outside stamping for parts that require high tonnage or hydraulic stamping with several local Chinese companies. We also have relationships with several Chinese and American owned laser houses in China that can provide high quality blanks which we fabricate and assemble into finished products
Any processes or parts, which come from outside of our factory, are rigorously inspected to insure the highest level of quality.
